wawaweewa i will start off with the saga of my strange allergic reaction from last month

this is what i looked like when i first woke up. i could barely open my left eye and it hurt so bad

then i took a shower and the swelling went down but the redness stayed all day!! my eyelids were super dry and itchy

this was a little bit later in the day before i went to work and i had these strange lines 

this was after work and it looks a lot better but still looks weird

what has happened since february? a decent amount i do suppose. this month i have been full time at peng bc one of my coworkers is in japan for his grandmother's funeral, very sad. i had my first day off since the beginning of this month yesterday and i spent it at my parents. (: 

oh! i also went to a birthday party yesterday evening for one of my previous students, abby. i was so nervous that she invited me because i wold inevitably know none of her friends. but it was a really fun time, and no one knew each other!  she is new to the area and was just trying to bring people together by throwing herself a birthday party. i aspire to be that way, that is really cool right? 

this week is another full week, but it is my last full week of the month! 

the apartment has simply been a disaster since emma moved out. lets be honest though, the apartment has always been a disaster. ugh! i miss living with emma now its just me and alec which is fine but there is too much masculine energy, i want to girlify this whole entire apartment. i also still see emma pretty regularly we got ice cream yesterday and sat in my car and prank called people. 

alec and i converted our old bedroom into a walk in closet which is very nice. but there is so much stuff everywhere because he hasn't had the time to put any of it away and it is lowkey making me stressed. but thats ok bc i also havent been able to do anything due to my insane schedule. alec made a clothes rack out of pipes and stuff from home depot. it looks pretty cool. ill send pics when its not a disaster. oh! jojo will find this so funny:

we went to home depot to get the pipes and connectors and some wood for this shoe shelf thing alec made and i was like "ah, the home depot lumber department. remember a*** st***** (i dont think thats enough *'s for his last name)?" and alec was like "no who tf is that" and i went :p and he went :? and i went xO (me laughing). he had completely forgotten (as he should). 

this last month i taught eleven classes a week. that is so many classes. i am so excited to be going back to my cutesy little part time job where i only work three days a week at peng. that makes me sound like such a slacker but with the two studios, i am indeed working 40 hours a week so its not that embarrassing. 

the weather has been very nice here in chicago. i cant wait until it is consistently 80+ degrees so that there can be lots of beach days. after i get this absolutely fat hammy of a paycheck (with like 10 hours of overtime or something stupid like that), i am going to treat myself to a little pre-summer makeover. i want to buy some nicer hair stuff because my hair has been quite simply falling out in clumps. and i know it cant be diet related because i have lots of veggies each day. 

i have also in the last two months downloaded a very cute and wholesome mindfulness app called finch. there is a lot of cool stuff like meditation guides, breathing exercises and daily reflections. the more you do little mindfulness stuff, the more your little bird grows. my bird's name is bird and he is now a toddler.

some nice mugs that came out of the kiln yesterday, i gave the front one to abby for her birthday with some little tea and honey and she really enjoyed it (:

i thinks that's it for now. hopefully the next update will be more fun and less work. i want to go on a little vacation maybe. to like starved rock or galena maybe idk we shall see
